Aspect ratio

Fit inside never stretches the image. Exact size can change its proportions; fill size keeps proportions by cropping the overflow.

Upscaling

Making a raster image larger adds pixels but cannot recreate missing detail. Use the Windows app for verified local Real-ESRGAN upscaling.

Transparency

PNG and WebP can retain transparency. JPEG cannot, so transparent areas are filled with your chosen background color.

Can I resize several images to the same dimensions?

Yes. Add the files, enter one target, and choose exact size or center-cropped fill. Every successfully decoded image is processed in the batch.

How do I resize without stretching?

Choose “Fit inside — keep ratio.” Each image stays proportional and fits within the width and height you entered.

Does resizing remove metadata?

The web tool re-encodes the image and normally removes EXIF and other metadata. This also prevents location metadata from being copied accidentally.
